Sienna Goines begins a stint as Jade's Aunt Simone on May 27, when Jade and Joey visit her commune outside LA. Goines has a soap opera past. She played Callie Rogers on The Young and the Restless (1999-2000) and Valerie Davis on Passions (2007).
The week of May 9, 2016:
Daniel Cosgrove, who made a surprise return a "Aiden" on Friday, May 6, is back on the soap. The character had been killed off in November 2015.
Rick Hammond plays Dr. Hale on May 11.
Eric Satterberg portrays Steve, a lab technician on May 12.
The week of May 2, 2016:
Josh Burrow premieres as Clark on May 2. The character has a connection to Summer and shares scenes with Marie Wilson.
The week of April 25, 2016:
Anne-Marie Johnson begins a recurring stint as Dr. Robinson, Abigail's therapist, on April 26. It's not the actress first time on the soap. Back in 2012 she played Dr. Patel for two episodes.
Victoria Scott appears on April 25 and 27 as Victoria Hannath, a student at Salem High. She'll play a pivotal role in the school prom.
Connor Weil plays Mark McNair, another Salem High teen, on April 25 and 27.
Todd Waring portrays the above mentioned Mark's father, Judge McNair, on April 28.
The week of April 18, 2016:
Days has finally confirmed that Freddie Smith, who was photographed on set weeks ago, is returning as Sonny. Smith, who last appeared on the show on October 22, 2015, will resurface in Salem in July.
The week of April 11, 2016:
Greg Vaughan wraps up his stint as Eric Brady on April 15, when his character is sent off to prison. Vaughan joined the soap back in 2012.
Christos Vasilopoulos plays a young Victor on April 15, when current Victor (John Aniston) has flashbacks about Helena's death.
Meanwhile, Arianne Zucker does double duty this week -- Chase Jennings is a character on the soap opera Days of Our Lives, portrayed by Connor Kalopsis from (February 6, 2014 to September 30, 2015). Jonathon McClendon took over the role in 2015-16 when the character was aged. Chase is the son of Aiden Jennings and a classmate of Ciara Brady's, who he constantly picks on. Chase and Ciara eventually became friends when Aiden and Ciara's mom became a couple. Unbeknownst to Chase, he had accidentally shot and killed his mother, Meredith, when he was playing with her gun. Aiden hid the evidence to protect Chase from the truth. In October 2015, a teen aged Chase (recast with Jonathan McClendon) phoned Aiden and said he forgot the keys to the house. Chase was then approached by Andre DiMera, who said he was a friend of Aiden's. When Aiden saw Andre, he gave Chase his keys and sent him home. Aiden and Hope got married with Chase and Ciara by their respective parents side. Afterwards, Ciara and Chase went for a walk and talked about their new relationship as step siblings. Chase and Ciara saw a jacket in the window, and Ciara said if he liked it she could steal it for him. Chase thought she was joking, and was stunned when Ciara was about to open the door; realizing she was serious. They were stopped by Doug and Julie. Chase and Ciara went to see Hope when they learned she was in the hospital. Ciara was happy to see that her father, Bo Brady, was back. Chase wanted to know where Aiden was, and was devastated when he learned that Aiden had tried to kill Hope, and then had been killed by Bo. Chase ran off, and Bo tried to rea Familiar to many audiences for his recurring role on the comedy series "The Grinder" (Fox, 2015-), Connor Kalopsis began his professional acting career before his age even reached double digits. Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Kalopsis had an expansive view of the world from a young age, as he traditionally spent the spring term of every school year studying at the International Montessori School in Beijing, China. Consequently, Kalopsis spoke fluent Mandarin, and studied Arabic as well. He began his acting career in 2012 with an appearance on the irreverent comedy series "The League" (FXX, 2009-2016). The very next year, he made his feature film debut in the Jason Bateman comedy "Bad Words" (2013). By 2014, Kalopsis' star was seriously on the rise, as he appeared in a prominent Adidas commercial alongside NHL Hockey player Mike Cammalleri and joined the cast of the long running soap opera "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965- ). The next year would prove to be even bigger, as the young actor was cast alongside stars Rob Lowe and Fred Savage on the comedy series "The Grinder" (Fox, 2015-). Kalopsis still continued to nurture his hobbies outside of acting, however, practicing the bass guitar and learning to fly a single-engine airplane. After years spent modeling in Europe and New York, March (ex-Nash, One Life to Live; ex-Scott, All My Children); ex-Mason, As the World Turns) worked in film and television, becoming known for a recurring role on the popular soap One Life to Live. He discovered Sullivan County on a family camping trip and returned for the fly-fishing whenever he needed to decompress from his acting gigs. Eventually, he bought a house in Jeffersonville and took refuge there when the recession hit along with his Italian wife, Vanessa, and their two kids, Marina, 15, and Peter, 8.
Kelly Rutherford Granted Sole Custody of Her 2 Children
The Gossip Girland Generationsstar has been given sole legal and physical custody of her two children temporarily after a California judge ruled that son Hermes, 8, and daughter Helena, almost 6, be brought back to the United States from Monaco, where they had been living with father Daniel Giersch since 2012.
According to a court order filed Friday, the children must return to Los Angeles, and their mother will keep their passports. A hearing at the L.A. Superior Court – where Rutherford, Hermes, Helena and Giersch or his representative are required to be present – is scheduled for June 15.
Acting roles accumulate for young local thespian, Connor Kalopsis
Less than two months after filming ended for the pilot for a new television show, The Grinder, starring Rob Lowe and former child star Fred Savage, Fox Broadcasting has ordered the series to start next fall.
“It’s amazing,” said Kalopsis (Chase, Days of our Lives), the 11-year-old son of former London city councillor Nancy Branscombe and businessperson Ken Kalopsis.
“When you’re filming, you don’t think it will ever get picked up because you don’t want to get your hopes up. I’m just so happy.”
