Lauren Conrad and her husband William Tell are celebrating 10 years of marriage.
On Friday, Sept. 27, the former reality television star, 38, shared a social media post dedicated to her partner, 44, and the “tiny people” they've made over the years.
“What an amazing summer!” the caption to Conrad's Instagram carousel read. “We traveled, beached, gained an uncle and I celebrated 10 years married to my favorite person in the world (besides the tiny people we made).”
The Hills alum and Tell, who is both a practicing attorney specializing in entertainment law as well as a guitarist in the pop-rock band Something Corporate, have known each other since high school.
However, it wasn’t until 2012 when they were set up on a blind date that their relationship progressed. Two years later, the couple wed on Sept. 13, 2014, at a boutique winery in Santa Ynez, Calif.

William Tell and the reality star turned lifestyle mogul first met when Conrad, who starred on MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills, was in high school. Born in Orange County, Calif., in 1980, Tell grew up in the same area of SoCal as Conrad, though they didn’t start dating until 2012 when they were set up on a blind date. Unlike her previous romances with Jason Wahler and Brody Jenner, Conrad’s relationship with Tell has been off-screen and out of the public eye. Early in their relationship, Tell left his career as a musician to attend law school and is now a practicing attorney specializing in entertainment law. The couple wed in 2014 and went on to welcome two sons: Liam and Charlie. Here’s everything to know about Lauren Conrad’s husband, William Tell. Before he was a lawyer, Tell was a member of Something Corporate, a pop-rock band formed in Orange County, California, in 1998. Tell joined the group in 2001 as a guitarist and backup vocalist. In 2002, Something Corporate released their first album with their label MCA Records, Leaving Through the Window, which reached number one on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and number 101 on the Billboard 200. In 2004, Tell left the band to pursue a solo career, but ultimately decided to quit the music industry all together. “I signed a solo deal a year or two after I left the band, went out and toured and did the whole thing,” he told Above the Law in 2014. “It got to the point where I was approaching 30, rapidly, and I hadn’t struck it big on my own. I’d had some success, but music is a young man’s business. You really need to be between 17 and 25 to break in, although there are exceptions.” Tell reunited with his Something Corporate bandmates in 2023 for several shows, including a performance at the Lauren Conrad Shares a Rare Look at Her Adorable Family! Lauren Conrad is staring at the blank page before her as she enters 2024. The Hills alum entered the new year by sharing a sweet look back at 2023, giving insight into her life with husband William Tell and their sons Liam, 6, and Charlie, 4. "Happy New Year," Lauren captioned a series of photos posted to Instagram Jan. 1. "Thanks for the memories 2023." The fashion designer's carousel included a video with William and his band, Something Corporate, a marvelous snap of her sons dressed as The Flash and Spider-Man on Halloween and a clip of Lauren strutting to the ocean with a surfboard overhead. Last year marked a major milestone for Lauren as she shared in January that she would be shutting down her lifestyle website after 12 years. But it wasn't a sad moment for the 37-year-old who closed the chapter on her blog to pursue other passions. "The truth is that being a designer has always been my first love," the Laguna Beach star explained in the farewell post on the site. "And as that business has grown for me over the years, I've had less time to devote to this blog." "When I'm not designing for LC Lauren Conrad and Little Co.," she continued. "I prefer to spend most of my free time with my husband and kids." In fact, the mother of two did spend a lot of quality time with her family since shutting down her blog. After all, she updated fans on her family's adventures over the year, including surfing at the beach and playing board games together. And, of course, the family of four also celebrated New Year's together, with her children's clothing brand Little Co. by Lauren Conrad sharing a glimpse into Lauren's festivities.
