Valentine's Day to get ruined for Sameer and Sanjana in Sasural Simar Ka
The fictional show Sasural Simar Ka has been on air for over 5 years. It has witnessed umpteen number of twists and turns to apparently deliver freshness in the storyline. Now that the show has taken a major leap and is focusing on a new track with newer cast, looks like fans are hooked to the show.
The show will soon see a new turn in the storyline.A source reveals, "In an upcoming Valentine's Special track, Sanjana who is currently in constant fear over the paranormal and weird happenings around her, is living in tension. Looking at this, Sameer who is worried for her thinks of Valentine's day to be the ideal day to cheer Sanjana up. The doting husband plans to celebrate the festival of love by surprising her. But as fate would have it, Sanjana who is fearful throughout loves the gesture but is in a state of constant worry. She is neither able to enjoy the date nor focus on Sameer. Even the smallest of thing like candles being blown off to the curtains flapping due to the wind are all taken as paranormal activities by Sanjana who feels that there is someone constantly keeping a watch on her. Sameer, further gets annoyed by her constant panicky behavior and calls off the date and blames Sanjana for ruining his well planned eve."
The show, a few weeks ago crossed it's episodic mark. Rohan, while talking about the same had stated, "We are in a space where content-driven shows are also not accepted by the audiences & unfortunately go off air in a span of few months. It is a tricky business to gain the acceptance of the viewers these days. I'm happy to be associated with shows that reach this far. I was a part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai when they completed episodes & this time for SSK. I feel lucky and enjoy all the ups and downs of a show. It's like crossing a milestone."

Sasural Simar Ka (transl.&#;Simar's In-Laws) is an Indian Hindi-language television soap opera produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms that aired from 25 April to 2 March on Colors TV. It is the second longest-running Indian television series on Colors TV, after Balika Vadhu.
Plot
Roli and Simar are two sisters in Vrindavan, and Siddhant and Prem are two brothers in Delhi. Simar aspires to be a dancer. Her marriage is fixed with a wealthy businessman, Prem Bharadwaj. On the wedding day, Simar participates in a dance competition, and Roli is forced to marry Prem. Prem tells the whole family the truth that he is married to Roli. Mata ji then decides that Prem will remarry Roli in front of Simar. This creates problems as Simar and Prem start loving each other. Prem's brother, Siddhant, marries Roli. Eventually, the Bhardwaj family finally accepts Simar and Roli as their daughters-in-law. Mata ji then worries that Simar and Roli will rule the house instead of her, so Mata ji decides that she will do something to stop them from doing the housework. Mata ji puts a wrong medicine in Sujata's drink so she can accuse Simar and Roli of being so careless and stop them doing the housework.
Khushi, who wants revenge for her sister's death, marries Siddhant and Prem's cousin, Sankalp. Roli tries to expose the truth about Khushi but fails every time. Simar tells Roli to leave the house because everyone in the family believes that Roli is lying. Simar finds out that Khushi sold all her jewellery and replaced them with fake gold jewellery. Khushi tells her boyfriend Veeru to unlock the lock and steal the fake gold jewellery. Simar sees this and tries to snatch the bag from Veeru but falls down the stairs. As a result of this, Simar has a miscarriage. Khushi becomes the surrogate mother of Prem and Simar's child and blackmails Simar to sign the prope .
