Benson James Boone (born June 25, ) is an American singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Monroe, Washington, he began his music career when he filled in for a friend at a talent show. Boone appeared on American Idol in early , where he briefly competed before withdrawing voluntarily. He continued to gain popularity on TikTok and subsequently signed a contract with Night Street Records.

Boone's debut single, "Ghost Town", was released in October and charted in 16 countries. Boone has since released multiple successful singles, including "In the Stars" (April ) and "Beautiful Things" (January ), the latter topping the charts in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Norway, France, Germany, Ireland and New Zealand. It also became his first song to enter the top five on the U.S. Billboard Hot , reaching number two. His debut studio album, Fireworks & Rollerblades, was released in April

Early life

Boone was born in Monroe, Washington, to Kerry and Nate Boone. Boone grew up with four sisters, Kaylee, Natalee, Emma, and Claire. He attended Monroe High School and was a member of the school's competitive diving team. He graduated from the school in

Plot

This action series focused on a group of commandos recruited from stateside prisons to use their special skills against the Germans in World War II. The four were: "Actor" (Cesare' Danova), a handsome, resonant-voiced con man; "Casino" (Rudy Solari), a tough, wiry safe-cracker and mechanic; "Goniff" (Christopher Cary), a slender, likable cat burglar; and "Chief" (Brendon Boone), a rugged, somber American Indian who handled a switchblade like he was born to it. Norman Brendon Boone Jr. is an American actor and writer.

Early life and education

Born in Meridian, Mississippi, Boone is the son of Rev. Norman Boone and Leola Speed Boone. His father was a pastor in the United Methodist Church. Boone was a student at Columbia High School before he graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also had dramatic training at Rollins College for a year.

Career

On television, Boone portrayed Chief on Garrison's Gorillas and Roman Bedford on Rawhide. He also appeared on other programs, including Gunsmoke; The Red Skelton Show; Bonanza; Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C.; The Virginian, and other series. He also won a four-day trip to Italy on an episode of The Dating Game. Films in which he appeared include The Big Game (), Death Race (), and The Hanged Man (). On stage, he portrayed Tommy in Tenderloin in Oceanside, California.

Boone wrote a novel, Preacher and Co, and its accompanying screenplay, with a plot focusing on "love, brotherhood, loyalty and redemption".
