Patrick Joseph Wilson (born July 3, ) is an American actor. He began his career in , starring in Broadway musicals. He received nominations for two Tony Awards for his roles in The Full Monty (–) and Oklahoma! (). He co-starred in the acclaimed HBO miniseries Angels in America (), for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award.
Wilson appeared in films such as The Phantom of the Opera (), Hard Candy (), Little Children (), Watchmen (), and The A-Team (). He gained wider recognition for his starring role in the Insidious film series (–) and as Ed Warren in The Conjuring universe (–present), both horror franchises. He made his directorial debut with the sequel Insidious: The Red Door ().
On television, Wilson starred in the CBS drama series A Gifted Man (–) and as Lou Solverson in the second season of FX's anthology series Fargo (), for which he received a second Golden Globe nomination. In the DC Extended Universe, he played Ocean Master in Aquaman () and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom ().
Early life
Patrick Joseph Wilson was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on July 3, , the son of voice teacher/singer, Mary Kay Wilson and WTVT news anchor John Franklin Wilson. He has two older brothers: Paul, an advertising executive, and Mark, who succeeded their father as a WTVT news anchor. Wilson grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he attended Shorecrest Preparatory School. In , he graduated with a BFA in Drama from Carnegie Mellon University.
Career
Early stage and TV work
In , Wilson made his acting debut as an understudy in the role of Chris Scott in the national touring production of Miss Saigon. The following year, he portrayed Billy Bigelow in the national tour of Carousel.[8&

Robert G. Moore is president of Coastwatch, Incorporated, a maritime management and consulting firm involved in the design of vessel traffic service (VTS) systems. The firm has developed VTS design requirements for 23 U.S. ports. Previously, he was a career officer in the U.S. Coast Guard. As chief of military readiness, he was responsible for service-wide security, contingency and defense planning, and training. Capt. Moore also has broad international experience. He was the U.S. State Department advisor to the government of Somalia and served in London as deputy commander, U.S. Coast Guard Activities Europe. Capt. Moore's extensive experience with VTS systems includes visits to major VTS systems in Europe and service as the U.S. observer to the international committee that developed the traffic separation schemes for Dover Straits and the North Sea. He also played a leading role in the Port Needs Study, a study for the U.S. Coast Guard that identified U.S. ports that require VTS systems. Capt. Moore has a B.S. degree in engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
J.S. Niederhauser is an active marine pilot and past president of Puget Sound Pilots. He is the pilot representative to the Port of Tacoma project for the computer simulation of large container ship navigation in the Blair Waterway. Born on a potato farm in Ireland in , Thomas Mellon decided at an early age that farming was not his lifes calling. When he was five years old, his family moved to Pennsylvania, where he could often be found reading a book as he rode a plow across his fathers fields. He became a lawyer in , and although his practice did well, his investments in real estate, construction, and mortgages fared even better. In Judge Thomas Mellon retired from public service and founded T. Mellon and Sons, a private banking house at Smithfield Street in Pittsburgh.
The bank prospered during the postwar years, and a second bank, run by Mellons sons, opened soon after the first. In the Panic of , when half the banks in Pittsburgh failed, the Mellons never closed either bank.
