Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki (transl.&#;She Who Lives in a Palace) is an Indian Hindi-languagetelevision series that aired on Sahara One channel. The series ran from 30 May and ended on 20 January It became the longest running television production of Rajshri Productions.

Plot

The successful show ran for five years. During the first year of the show's run, the protagonist is Rani Mittal (Reena Kapoor), a rich girl who gets married into a poor family and learns to adjust to lower middle class life. After the death of her first husband Raj Goel, her family gets her married to his rich look-alike Prince Thapar.

20 Years later

During the second year of the show's run, after the deaths of Rani and Prince, their daughter Pari Thapar becomes the show's protagonist. Pari looks exactly like her mother. The show focuses on Pari's life, her first crush in college, her marriage to her soul-mate Saumya Parashar (Aamir Ali), and the many obstacles she has to face during her married life. Saumya dies after falling from a cliff, trying to save his cousin Sameer (Vikram Acharya). Pari, who is pregnant at that time, soon goes into labour. Dr. Manav Kumar, a famous obstetrician, supervises her delivery. Coincidentally, Manav's wife, Pallavi, also delivers a baby boy on the same day, and her delivery is overseen by Manav's friend Dr. Saurav. Pallavi dies in childbirth, and Pari's newborn son dies, too. In order to save Pari from another shock, so soon after losing her husband, Manav selflessly hands over his son to her. Pari assumes that the baby is her own son, and brings him up. The child is named Shubham. In time, Dr. Manav begins to miss his son and often finds excuses to meet him. When Pari and her family object to this, Manav attempts suicide in a fit of depression. He survives but loses his balance of mind. Plot

The story is based on the lives of two sisters, Niharika (Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar) and Vedika (Gurdeep Kohli). Vedika is a mentally unstable young woman who fears the traditional sindoor. Vedika's sister, Niharika, agrees to marry a disabled man named Antariksh (Pracheen Chauhan) on the condition that Vedika marry his younger brother. She marries a sane man named Dhruv (Sachin Shroff). The subsequent events in their lives, along with the fortunes of their family members, form the crux of the story.

Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai (transl.&#;Every home tells something) is a Hindi television serial that aired on Zee TV from 16 July to 18 April It was based on the story of 3 girls: Prarthna, Sidhhi, and Sanskriti. Even though they all have different lives and a different outlook of life, destiny is not always on their side, and when the unexpected happens their dreams, hopes and desires come crashing down.

Plot

First, the story focuses on the lives and different belief systems of the three main protagonists - Prarthana, Siddhi and Sanskriti.

Prarthana (Rati Pandey) is an orphan nurtured by her uncle and aunt. Her only desire is to have a traditional arranged marriage into a happy joint family. Prarthana hopes that one day she will walk into a house that is full of warmth and love.

Prarthana's cousin Siddhi (Aanchal Anand) is a vibrant and independent girl who has lived abroad most of her life. Siddhi cannot understand the concept of an arranged marriage, nor can she tolerate being surrounded by people all the time. She believes that one must marry one's true love.

Sanskriti (Amrita Prakash) is a model by profession, very straightforward and blunt in her attitude. Sanskriti can't understand the concept of marriage at all. She doesn’t believe that marriage can hold two people closer than love can. She vouches for a live-in relationship.

Plot

The story deals with the problems that money brings to a family along with changing the fabric of their relationships. How a happy family breaks down due to the temptation that money brings. The series focuses on how the relationship between Rajeshwar and Radhika changes despite it surviving the tests of time, and on the story of Kanya and how her life changes after marriage.
