Cyber-Lebrity is the second episode in Season Six of CSI: Miami.
Synopsis[]
An Internet celebrity's boyfriend is killed with a bow and arrow. During the case, Horatio becomes a "cyber-lebrity" himself, which puts his life in danger.
Plot[]
Reluctant teenage "cyber-lebrity" Candace Walker, who has been under the microscope since a picture of her appeared on the internet, is horrified to witness her boyfriend, Luke Selyan, fatally shot with an arrow at her swim meet. Horatio calls Ryan Wolfe and asks him to act as Candace's personal bodyguard, while Calleigh confiscates the archery team's bows from Robert Whitten, Candace's coach, noticing that the man has quite a few pictures of Candice up on his wall. While the mass's continue to follow Candace's every move, lab tech Sam Barrish and Delko discover photos of Candace taken up close, and Alexx finds a camera in Luke's glasses. A blogger confesses to planting the camera and a transmitter, but he denies being anywhere near the pool when Luke was murdered. Horatio finds himself pulled into the Candace controversy when web pages start linking to him—and mention a Grand Jury case he was involved in. Stetler urges Horatio accept police protection, but he declines.
When the tires of Horatio's Hummer are slashed, he brings in Damen Argento, the son of the man the grand jury put away five years ago, with Horatio's help. Damen blames Horatio for his father's death, but Horatio has nothing concrete to hold him on. He lets him go, with a stern warning. Alexx discovers lipstick behind Luke's ear, and footage from the camera in Luke's glasses leads the CSIs to Miranda Harton, a flirtatious fellow student who was convinced Luke was only staying with Candace because of her celebrity status. Delko notes that it's a convincing motive for murder. Calleigh finds Coach Witten's DNA on the trigger of the bow that killed Luke, but he denies doing anything that would hurt Candace. After a promotional photo shoot Candace's mothe

Content Note: (critical treatment of) racism
Plot:
Anar (Iveel Mashbat) and Kassy (Jana Miley) have been married for a while. Things have turned a little stale, unfortunately. When Kassy, an actress, gets invited on a date with a director (Roy Oraschin), she accepts, hoping to be cast in his movie. Meanwhile Anar, a bartender, gets a visit from Olivia (Charlette Rozzell) at his bar. She obviously has something to tell him. Both these events may push Anar and Kassy’s marriage over the brink.
Beloved is a melancholic look at a marriage falling apart that could have been a little more political, but definitely captures the sadness of a long drawn-out good-bye.
Beloved is at its best when portraying distances and closeness between people, especially the coldness between Kassy and Anar. The opening of the film absolutely nails the feeling of a couple that has been together for ages and is at once, completely comfortable with each other, and yet doesn’t really have anything to say to each other anymore. Later on, there is also a montage where Kassy’s relationship with the director is summarized that manages to go from love to distance in the space of a minute or so.
But it also captures the moments when Kassy and Anar (or Anar and Olivia) have a genuine connection with each other. And those moments make us understand what Kassy and Anar have lost in the years of their marriage, making the distance between them even more poignant, but also giving us a sense of closure. It’s bittersweet and beautiful.
Being married is hard, and it is not made easier by the fact that Anar and Kassy are an interracial couple. The film hints at this – Kassy listening to a radio program that espouses the racist theory that people should just marry
Living Legend is the ninth episode in Season Seven of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Synopsis[]
The Cadillac of an infamous 1970's mob boss, Mickey Dunn, is found in a lake after he disappeared years ago. Shortly afterwards, a string of murders occur in which the killers almost eagerly leave evidence of their appearance for witnesses and the CSIs. Furthermore, an old picture of the victims standing next to Dunn outside the Desert Inn Casino is planted on their bodies. The team must then find out what the connection is between the murders and Dunn.
Plot[]
Victim: Ken Billings (deceased)
On the case: Entire team
A news report fills the viewer in on Mickey Dunn, a legendary mob boss in Vegas in the 1970's. He's shown getting out of his gold Cadillac that had a hood ornament of a gun and a license plate that read "CHAINSAW." Mickey would live the high life until 1976, when he was linked to the murder of a low-level mob informant. On the night the arrest warrant was issued, Mickey and the gold Cadillac disappeared, never to be seen again.
In the present day, a Spanish-speaking fisherman shows the news reporter that he has snagged the hood ornament from the car and knows that it's tied to Mickey's disappearance. Catherine and Warrick arrive on the scene, both somewhat skeptical that this has anything to do with Mickey. Sure enough, though, the Cadillac is pulled out of the water with the "CHAINSAW" license plate still intact.
Later that night in a karaoke bar, a man sings a rendition of Frank Sinatra's "That's Life" that really gets one patron in a celebratory mood. When the two men meet, the singer introduces himself as Michael Myers, while the wheelchair-bound patron says his name is Ken Billings. The two get their pictures taken for the bar's Wall of Fame and end up drinking and reminiscing deep into the night. After closing, in the parking lot, Michael pushes Ken past his car and down a hill into a busy road. Ken is struck and killed by a party
